Until
recently, it was not practical for renters to take advantage of home security systems
related to a number of issues faced by renters. We offer wireless
security systems that afford renters the same benefits homeowners have been enjoying for years.
Nationwide Security Solutions has broken down the barriers that kept home security out of reach for renters. Two of the biggest issues that prevented renters from
enjoying the protection of a security system were the alarm monitoring agreement and the landlord
rules in the lease. The third issue was that some security monitoring companies services were charging exorbitant rates and were cost prohibitive.
We offer the state-of-the-art wireless Honeywell home security
system. One of the great characteristics of the home security system we offer is the flexibility to the customer. The wireless
components make it easy to install and it allows the renter to take their
entire alarm system with them if they ever move. They simply request a free
moving kit from Nationwide Security Solutions, take their security system with them to their
new home and transfer the monitoring service to their new address.
Like all other alarm companies, our customers have a monitoring
agreement, but with the wireless security system and the ability to transfer
service to the new address, we have eliminated the barrier that alarm
agreements used to create for renters. When the lease is up on their home or
apartment, renters with a security system from Nationwide Security Solutions simply take the alarm system with them.
Another nearly impossible problem for renters to get an alarm system was the
lease itself. Rules set forth within the lease or by the landlord prohibited
drilling or cutting any holes. Most leases also prohibited any permanent
modifications to a dwelling. With almost every alarm company, the most
affordable solution is and has always been a hardwired security system.
The difficulty that a hardwired security system presents is that it requires holes to
be drilled in the door and window frames and wires to be run inside the walls.
It also often requires at couple of holes to be cut in the walls to install the
hardware. Once finished, the hardwired home security system is a permanent
fixture in the dwelling.
Along with the flexibility to take the system with you, the Honeywell wireless home
security system from Nationwide Security Solutions also allows for very simple installation.
No drilling is required and no holes need to be cut into any of the walls.
The easiest installation process for a renter is to use the safe, heavy duty
adhesive to install the security system devices into place. When it is time to
move, the customer simply de-activates the alarm and takes the security devices
down.
There is no damage and no mess to clean up, which makes this system a
favorite not only for renters but also for the landlords as well.
The third problem that renters have faced when considering a home
security system has been the high cost involved. As a homeowner, most home
security companies will provide a low up front cost on equipment and then charge
the monthly service one month at a time. However, for renters, this process has
historically been very different.
Renters looking for home security have been expected to often pay the full
retail price for equipment, which exceeds $1,000 in many cases. After paying the
full cost of the equipment, renters were also still expected to pay the same
monthly monitoring price as homeowners and sometimes even higher.
The reason
this was necessary for the alarm companies was because renters usually only
lived in their residence for one year and were not able to take the security
system or service to their new home.
We have completely erased the cost issue for
renters and for homeowners as well. Working with Nationwide Security Solutions, any credit-worthy U.S.
resident can get free home security equipment when they sign up for the monthly
monitoring service. This great value to
homeowners, but now this same great deal is available to renters as well.
Nationwide Security Solutions offers a package that is designed specifically
to provide a security system for renters in apartments which usually only have
one or two doors. We offer renters a security system with seven perimeter entry point sensors or contacts. These can be used to
protect any doors or window and, in most cases, should give the customer enough
sensors to protect all the doors and windows providing full perimeter
protection.
Being able to sleep at night with the peace of mind that your family is safe
is something that every American should be able to afford. We are pleased to offer an affordable home security system and monitoring to renters. According to the US Census Bureau Statistics, there are
about 86 million1 U.S. residents who finally have a viable solution
to provide effective security for their families.
